Frequently Asked Questions

What is your cancellation policy?

To receive a full refund of a class reservation, you must cancel your reservation at least four hours before your class. To cancel a class, log into your account and click on your schedule, then click cancel. Is there an age requirement for RYB Lagree?

Clients must be 18 to attend RYB, or 16 if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What does “waitlist” mean?

When a class is full, you are moved to the waitlist. You will be contacted if someone cancels their appointment, and you will be moved into the class. If there is no information next to a class time, that means the waitlist is also full.

Is RYB Lagree safe to do while pregnant? Can I do RYB with an injury?

Yes, RYB Lagree can be a safe and effective workout during pregnancy for those who have prior experience with the method. Exercises can be modified. As always, speak to your doctor before beginning an exercise program, or while recovering from an injury.

Why do I need to wear grip socks?

The Megaformer can be slippery and during a typical class, clients are constantly moving on and off the machine. For safety, we require all clients to wear grip socks.

What should I bring for my first class?

Bring your grip socks, water, and wear clothes that fit snugly so they do not get caught in the Megaformer. Hair must be tied up. We ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes early for the respect of others. Due to the nature of our classes, it is very difficult to catch up once we have begun so punctuality is an absolute requirement. Be ready to sweat!

Do my packages expire? Can they be refunded?

Packages expire six months from the purchase date, and there are no refunds. We recommend you do a trial class for $10 first before signing up for a package.

Do you have a new client special?

There is a $10 first class special for new clients. The price will show up automatically when you make an account.

I have done traditional Pilates before, but never Lagree. Are they similar?

Although the Lagree Method and traditional Pilates share some similarities, the Lagree Method is much more challenging and cardio-heavy. Even our experienced clients leave sweating and exhausted. Exercises can be modified to fit a client’s needs. Speak to your instructor before class begins to discuss any modifications needed. If you are brand-new to Lagree and are not conditioned to strenuous exercise, we suggest our Tone & Stretch class with James.
